Susan is a Navy junior who lived in many places around the country before coming to Florida to teach mathematics. She made a career change and went to law school at the University of Florida, graduating in 1986.

Susan’s first years of practice were in South Florida, where she defended doctors, hospitals, nursing homes and psychiatric facilities. She has had extensive experience in general commercial litigation, including contract and other business disputes, defense of construction defect claims as well as estate and trust matters. Susan also does appellate work, with several published opinions of first impression. Susan has been the attorney for the School Board of Alachua County since June, 2009.

She lives, in Gainesville, Florida and has two adult daughters and the most beautiful grandchild in the world.
